Alexis was born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut and attended Achievement First Hartford High throughout middle and high school years. Alexis graduated college from Connecticut College with a double major in English and Educational studies and served in different roles such as an RA, as chair in the Students Activities Council, as mentor for other First Generation Students Of Color, and as co-chair for MOCA (The Men Of Color Alliance). Alexis loves to collect vinyls and spend time with loved ones.

Alicia was born and raised in Harlem, NY and attended KIPP from middle school through high school. She graduated Bowdoin College in 2021, majoring in English with a Creative Writing concentration and minoring in Cinema Studies. During her time at Bowdoin, Alicia was an undergraduate fellow for the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship program, a program dedicated toward placing more students of color into careers in academia through obtaining a PhD. Her research and film productions have centered issues of proprietorship and identity amongst women of color. She looks forward to supporting students with navigating their academic lives at the collegiate level.

Celine was born and raised in Poplar Grove, Arkansas. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2021 with a degree in Cultural and Linguistic Anthropology. After graduating, Celine became a Junior Seminar teacher at KIPP Dubois Charter School. Celine enjoys making meaningful connections with every individual she crosses paths with and aspire to grow here in the role of a College Success Fellow.

Justin Crawford is a SUNY Brockport graduate from Brooklyn, NY. His involvement at Brockport ranged from Men of Color to Residential Life to Brockport Student Government. He served as student body President 21' - 22'. Justin plans to continue developing his peers and youth into the leaders they want to be. He is excited to join the team because of their commitment to helping students navigate their way through college!

Ralph was born and raised in Harlem. Attending KIPP middle school and high school, the next step was to attend SUNY Geneseo. He was an Assistant Resident Director, club president for MILES (Men’s Incorporated Leadership, Empowerment, and Service), and collaborator with culture clubs on campus. Graduating in 2022 majoring in Communications, he looks forward to joining the College Success Fellowship to support students through their first years at college.

Rose-Lee Jean-Baptiste was born in Philadelphia and raised in New Haven. She graduated from Brandeis University in 2022, majoring in African & African American Studies and minoring in Legal Studies and History. During her time at Brandeis, Rose-Lee was the president of the Black Student Organization as well as the Undergraduate Departmental Representative for the African & African American Studies Department. Her leadership positions within Black spaces has influenced her interest in education policy. Rose-Lee plans on going to grad school for Public Policy with an education concentration and eventually institute education reform for Black students all around. She is excited to join the College Success Fellow team and help students on their college journey.

Julio is a New York native born and raised in the streets of Bushwick in Brooklyn. As a first generation child to go to college and the oldest of 6, Julio graduated from Wesleyan University in 2021 where he majored in American Studies and minored in Caribbean Studies. Proud of his Puerto Rican and Ecuadorian culture, at Wesleyan, Julio joined, and soon after led, the Latinx dance group "Caliente," and was a key member of the Latinx affinity group "Ajua Campos". During his time at Wesleyan, Julio was also a social and political activist intern, organizing, leading and facilitating several demonstrations and events around campus. To further assist his community, after college Julio returned back home where he became a Substitute Teacher in Williamsburg for predominantly black and brown students of color. Julio enjoys dancing Salsa and Afro-Puerto Rican Bomba in his free time and traveling around the world.
